RED STAR – TROYES : 0-1

On Sunday 17th February 2002, Red Star will play an important game in their quest for promotion to the National.
On the 27th December 1953, between Christmas turkey and New Years' eve, Red Star welcomed to the Stade de Saint-Ouen Troyes, for a D 2 game in front of a large crowd.
Troyes, 5th were just two points ahead of sixth placed Red Star. Earlier in the season, Troyes had tonked Red Star 6-1. At the end of the season they were promoted to D1.
