WHAT CAN BE DONE ?

More disillusionment, Red Star 93 beaten at home, deservedly so, by Grenoble 2-0 (1-0). After a turbulent week, with the departures of Cascarino and Girardot, Red Star once again showed all the usual weaknesses in every department.
The mtahc did start well, however, and during twenty minutes Lemées' men produced several good chances through Van Kets, Saragaglia, Aïchour and Castro. But this was to be a false dawning and as Saxemard fouled an opponent in the penalty area, former Amiens man Laurent David converted the penalty on 39 minutes.
The hoped-for second-half revival failed to materialise, and despite Aïchour wasting a good opportunity, Grenobles' number 8, Désiré Periatambée beat Jean-Marc Branger to effectively kill the game off. Worse was to follow with captain Thiam receiving his marching orders following a second yellow card. As the disillusioned Red Star supporters filed out of Marville early, a third defeat in four games was inevitable.
