A FAIR RESULT

Jacky Lemée pulled one or two surprises out of the hat for this trip to Reims, capital of Champagne Land. In defence, Robert Gomis, Arthurs' brother, Faye back at the heart of the defence alongside the experienced Camille Oponga and Saxemard, tonights' captain in the absence of the suspended Thiam. In midfield Tacalfred alongside Saragaglia and Aïchour. Up front, three including Ouejdide, Van Kets and Castro. In all honesty, bringing a point back from Reims is a good performance, in front of a big crowd (5 000). The best crowd since the start of the season.
A faire result, but the best chance fell to the visitors in the 32nd minute. Ouejdide outpaced his marker, and with a fine drive saved by the excellent reims goalkeeper Tingry. In return Reims could also have opened the scoring in the 66th minute, a shot by Akoum thumping the crossbar.
Points to note, the arrival as substitue of the youngster Randget for Van Kets. The unlucky Rudy Perron fell victim to a malicious elbow in the face, under the nose of the referee, who chose to ignore the violence. When examined by the reims doctor, a broken nose was the erdict, and upon arriving in Paris, Daniel Lafargues took the player to the hospital.
