FOR HOW MUCH LONGER ?

"We controlled the game from the start, we had enough chances, what do I have to do, score the goals myself ? At half time we should have been 3-1 up." A vexed Jean-Luc Girard when we spoke to him during the reserve team game on Sunday. As well as now being five points away from safety, Red Star are now only one point ahead of bottom placed Thouars.
Despite dominating the opening spell, Saragaglia, Perron and Van Kets several times were thwarted by the ex-Ajaccio goalkeeper Bruneau. 0-0 at the break, anything was still possible, but two lapses in concentration cost dearly, with two goals given to Valence. This was to prove an insurmountable obstacle to one of the worst attacks in the league, despite Saci pulling a goal back with twenty minutes remaining. With only one win in fourteen games, Red Star are now so deep in the shit, that we had better start getting the maps out for future vists to the CFA grounds. For how much longer must we tolerate this rubbish ?
