In a couple of weeks time, the 28th March at 6pm CET, Red Star will celebrate their centenary at the Stade de France, playing Racing in a National match.
In reality the centenary of Red Star took place three years ago on the 12th March 1997 and on that day the club travelled to Amiens in a league match which they lost 1-0. The team that day was : Debenest, Keller (Fellahi 64), Giraudo, Oponga, Mermet, Vasquez, Brouard (cap.), Valéri, Agasson (Maurico 64), Boutal, Djaffo. Coach : Djaadaoui.
Three survivors from that date could be in line to play on the 28th - current captain Fabien Valéri, Karim Fellahi and Camille Oponga.
