Back in the Autumn, Pau were struggling with only eight points as of the 5th October.... now the counter is at 31, thirteen ahead of Red Star. Back in October Pau punished a very poor Red Star side so that today, anything other than a win will plunge Emmanuel Hutteau and his team mates even closer to the CFA.
Last week, the Palois managed to get out of trouble against Pacy-sur-Eure, winning 3-2 after leading 3-0 at one stage through Sartolou, Vuksanovic and Avezac. It is rare to see Pau score three times, over 28 games the club from the Pyrénées have only found the net on 26 occasions, of which eleven on their travels, and have picked the ball out of their own net 34 times, 22 away from home. Top scorers are Avezac, Fournet, Paviot and Vuksanovic all with four each. The latter is the playmaker, and is a former player with Sarajevo, a vital piece in the side of Joël Lopez.
Pau lined up as folllows against Pacy : Legib, Belbachir, Turpin, Maurice, Gibert, Moffi, Fournel (Guillermet 65), Guerri (Sartolou 10), Avezac, Vuksanovic (Martin 86), Benlaredj.
Guerri, injured against the Normans will miss the trip to Red Star, as will Fournel.

Samuel Boutal, today at Troyes (D1) has played for both Pau and du Red Star 93
